Lauri's Blog...

Well, here we are... and what a ride it has been! How hard is a website to create you ask? Let me tell you... Fun? You bet!  I LOVE getting ready to give you all the wonderful, adorable, fabulous kid stuff I know and have found... Easy? Headache free? HAH!! My day today began at Office Max at 9- I had already made my way to Microcenter, only to realize, they do not greet customers until 10:00- NO MATTER WHAT! You can smile through the window, wave... BEG! 10:00 is still 10:00 in retail!

Those of you who know me, know, if I was there, you were welcome in!  I use a Mac- I need the software to take care of my website on my Mac, not my kid's Dell... So, I do what most computer "unsavvy" people do, I rely on the gurus. My guru at the SECOND store I went to , sold me, after the ten minute conversation he had with my  website  "handholder", whom I am TOTALLY indebted to for his smarts, a program he PROMISED would be easy to download and a breeze to help me take care of my site! A BREEZE? HAH! As I finish this, I am on my way back to the "guru" in hopes I can return the software, because Mac makes no software yet to do what I am trying to do!

" No Returns on opened software" is what the receipt reads... HAH! Do you think that refers to software sold to "un" gurus like myself who rely on the "real" gurus of the world??  We'll see! Stay tuned... I promise, from now on, I will stay glued to my son, Ryan's Dell laptop and do what I know- Mac or no Mac. Ready to shop? It's getting close- thanks to Dell!

Enjoy your day and remember... Everything happens for a reason!  Cheers... Lauri
